RIS-707 is a solo project by Tokyo-based singer-songwriter and producer RIS.
Drawing influences from glam rock, punk, new wave, and techno, RIS handles every aspect of the project independently, from songwriting and track production to artwork and visual direction.

Each release is built around a different concept, with its world carefully constructed through both music and artwork.
While tracing the lineage of timeless, roots-driven rock, RIS-707 establishes a unique attitude through an inventive sense of genre-mixing and a distinctive, humorous character.

In addition to collaborations with internationally renowned artists such as Chris Mosdell, lyricist for Yellow Magic Orchestra, RIS actively explores new forms of expression, including AI-based art.
In 2023, RIS was invited as a panelist to the Tokyo International Music Market (TIMM), gaining attention as a next-generation creative voice.

In April 2024, RIS-707 released the full-length album DANCE CULT, with tracks selected as ending themes for television programs.
In January 2025, RIS performed at Music Lane Festival Okinawa, receiving high praise from music professionals from Japan and abroad.

On September 12, 2025, RIS participates as a featured vocalist and Japanese lyricist on the Tokyo-themed single “DOKI DOKI,” released in conjunction with Italian artist Camilla PNK’s Japan tour.
RIS-707 also appeared on the stage of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, further solidifying the project’s presence as a cultural bridge through music.
