"The One for Me" is the debut single from Danish bass player, producer and composer Jimmy Ostbygaard's solo project East Collectors. It features Faroese singer Jens Marni.

The song is inspired by American West Coast greats such as Bill LaBounty, Michael McDonald and Bill Champlin, and tastefully blends the personal style of Jimmy whose family roots are from the Faroe Islands.

For decades Jimmy has worked either as producer or session musician with artists located in Denmark, Spain, Sweden, and the Faroe Islands. Now this time is his first release as an artist.
