AEGX has announced that Irish folk trio AMBLE will perform in Japan on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Daikanyama UNIT in Tokyo as part of their world tour, "THE REVERIE TOUR 2026." This will be their long-awaited debut performance in Japan, promoting their debut album, "Reverie," released in May 2025.
Due to overwhelming popularity, this will be their first performance in Japan, following additional dates in North America, the UK, and Europe on their world tour. With over 100,000 tickets sold to date, their live performances continue to captivate audiences around the world. AMBLE is currently attracting a lot of attention, having recently been announced as the opening act for some of the North American stadium shows on Ed Sheeran's 2026 world tour, "LOOP Tour." Tickets for the Japan tour will be available for pre-sale via e+ starting at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Reverie, due for release on May 23, 2025, is a quintessential AMBLE album, blending acoustic instrumentation, serene soundscapes, and beautiful harmonies with a core of intimacy, intimate storytelling, and unvarnished honesty. Recorded live in studios across Ireland and Los Angeles, the album captures the spirit of the band's early days.
Lead vocalist/guitarist Robbie Cunningham says:
"In the studio, the three of us sit in a circle around a microphone, playing together. Everything is essentially recorded live. There's a special energy when we get a perfect take, and if anyone makes a mistake, we start over. I think 'Reverie' really captures who we are."
AMBLE, comprised of Robbie, Ross McNerney (mandolin/bouzouki), and Oisin McCaffrey (vocals/guitar), has enjoyed rapid success since forming in late 2022. Just 18 months after quitting their jobs in rural west Ireland to focus solely on music, they've achieved over 100 million streams and sold-out shows around the world, garnering global attention for their authentic approach and strong connection with their audiences.
