Formed in 2023, Super Climbing Club is a five-piece band based in Aichi, Japan. True to their name, they combine mountaineering with music, performing live shows at mountain lodges around 3,000 meters above sea level as well as in live houses, all while strengthening their legs and stamina through climbing.
The band’s artwork and merchandise are designed by Yuu ishihama, while Tomoyuki Oda composes music that fuses diverse genres into a free-spirited sound, sparking listeners’ imagination and evoking vivid scenes of nature and landscapes. Complementing this is Hina’s emotionally rich, transparent, and expansive “wind-like voice,” delivering stories that resonate deeply.
With the concept of “Mountains × Music,” Super Climbing Club pursues a truly unique creative journey. Their symbolic track “Summit” represents both the literal peak and the metaphorical heights they strive for. They call their tours “Traverses,” inspired by the mountaineering term for crossing from one peak to another—reflecting their ongoing expedition toward new summits in both music and adventure.
