Members: Hina Suzuki (Vocals & Guitar), Zen (Guitar), Shohei Kinoshita (Bass), and Makoto Shimodaira (Drums).

SYAYOS is an experimental pop/rock band from Nagano, Japan formed in 2024. Their music drifts seamlessly between folk, soul and punk. Bassist Shohei is the primary composer and his favourite musician and biggest influence is Neo-soul artist D’Angelo (R.I.P). Hence, SYAYOS songs are soulful, progressive and a bit unpredictable. But one thing you can rely on is being captivated by Hina’s powerful yet sublime voice. Zen is a master on guitar, as if he underwent 10,000 years of training in an instant. And Makoto brings it altogether with imaginative fills and impeccably tight grooves.

They digitally released their first single, “Telescope,” in November 2024 and have been performing live in the Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka area since January 2025. In August 2025, they released their first album, “Anthem 1.1”. For “Anthem 1.1”, they explored a physical format that is neither a CD nor a vinyl record, and are selling “Anthem 1.1 physical”, a lyric card box that includes the song data.

SYAYOS’ recorded music sounds great but doesn’t do justice to the intensity of their live performances.
