NOREMORSE was formed in Prato in 1999, from the merger of two hard rock/heavy metal bands, both well-regarded in the Tuscan music scene. The need for evolution in rhythm and solo performances was the driving force behind these two groups, who combined to create a new band—solid, aggressive, and capable of immediately winning critical acclaim and audience support.
NOREMORSE are: Maurizio Muratori (vocals), Franco Birelli (bass), Massimiliano Becagli (drums), Sandro Paoli (guitar), and Aldo Tesi (guitar).
Their live performances translate into captivating "Heavy Metal" concerts, explosive blends of distorted and cutting notes. The impetuous solos of guitarist Aldo Tesi are complemented by the pressing, soaring rhythms of rhythm guitarist Sandro Paoli. The full-bodied, powerful sound of bassist Franco Birelli, combined with the unbridled energy of the band's tireless driving force, drummer Massimiliano Becagli, fuels the aggressive, raspy, and wild vocals of frontman Maurizio Muratori. NOREMORSE have performed at the most important venues and pubs throughout Italy. Each concert has consistently attracted massive audiences, contributing to the band's excellent publicity. Various live recordings have resulted in a LIVE DEMO, a valuable calling card for the band's breakthrough into the Italian metal scene.
