Jinsei Kaiki is a Tokyo-based city pop band formed in 2024, centered around keyboardist Takahashi Shōji, following the breakup of their predecessor band Jinsei Sōsō-ha, which was formed in 2022 by members from Tokyo College of Music.

Drawing inspiration from Western and Japanese pop, rock, and soul music of the '80s and '90s—as well as kayōkyoku and the cultural backdrop of that era—the band creates and performs music that reimagines and elevates those influences into a modern form of city pop.
