SILVER RUBBISH is a solo indie-rock project by Takumi Inui.  

Born into a musical family, his grandfather was a master of Shigin (a form of Japanese poetry recitation), and his parents are musicians. Renowned Japanese producer Takeshi Kobayashi heavily influenced Takumi. While studying philosophy at university, he also delved into jazz and began performing live as part of a rock band at Kobe Star Club. He gradually discovered his own sound through his musical activities in Osaka and Tokyo. Drawing strong influences from the music of the 60s and 90s, he writes pop songs characterised by lo-fi and ambient sounds
