Solitude Is Bliss formed in 2013 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Starting out as friends who played in the same circle; they collaborated and came up with ‘04:00am’ - a song that captured the imagination of the Thai alternative scene. With that Solitude Is Bliss was born. They have gone on to become Thailand’s most interesting and sought after up-and-coming band. Their music is a cacophony of sounds and effects that come together to create a listening experience of extreme sophistication. They are 5 very talented, unique characters that complement each other impressively and their live show is something to behold!

Their inspiration comes from social and political observations, making them heroes to their large and ever-growing fanbase.

The band is made up of Fender (Thanapol Chumkhammool) on vocals and rhythm guitar; Beer (Sedthakit Sitthi) on lead guitar also sharing vocal duties; Dong (Jomyoot Wongto) plays bass; Pound (Songpon Kaewwongwarn) on keys and Frank (Saran Dolpipatong) on drums.
