Wiz Dudes is a project founded and created by guitarist and composer, Robert Norén - aka Wiz and Thomas Björk (bass player). In 2021, after some planning, we started searching for great musicians and soon keyboard maestro - Joakhim Åslund (ex-Glenn Hughes members and more), joined the project. On the 3rd of September 2021, the song "Dude" was released (Spotify plus more - see the link below). Jari Katila on drums. Robin Alm - vocals. On the 27th of July 2022, the song "Windows" was released - written by Wiz. The lineup on the song was: Wiz - (guitar and song), Göran Edman - (vocals, ex, John Norum, Yngwie etc), and Joakhim Åslund - (all keyboards and Hammond). Leifi Isberg - (bass and drums). On the 28th of July 2023, the song "Cross The Sunrise" was released - written by Wiz. The recording lineup on the song was: Wiz - (guitar and song), Göran Edman - (vocals, ex, John Norum, Yngwie etc), Joakhim Åslund - (all keyboards and Hammond), Leifi Isberg - (bass), Rickard "Rigge" Jakobsson - (drums). The band Wiz Dudes was put to rest from late 2024 to the beginning of 2025. The name changed to Wiz, but in May 2025, it was Wiz Dudes again (the name of the project). At the same time, Wiz was also involved in another band, Rockstöld, when he was asked to join them in September 2024. Rockstöld recorded a song, "Down the Line, which was released on August 5, 2025.
Wiz Dudes will continue recording new material and writing songs.
