Red Tide formed in 1995 in the small coastal town of Tillamook, Oregon, USA. Red Tide is Drew Derieux- guitar/vocals, Brandon Affolter- bass, Mike Reeves- drums/vocals. Red Tide recorded their album "Beautiful Disaster" at Kaos Studio in Portland, Oregon. The group never disbanded but in 2000 Drew was able to attend college in Boston. The band was separated by distance but stayed in touch. Drew has returned to Tillamook for a year and Red Tide have recently begun to rehearse for upcoming shows.
