Lyrical Benjie started to dj when he was 18 years young, on Love International soundsystem in Amsterdam. After a few years when Love International sound was not playing anymore, he moved to King Shiloh soundsystem that had settled in Amsterdam, coming from the UK. With King Shiloh he toured all over the world, almost every country in Europe, also played in Asia and many other places. Lyrical Benjie finds the message very important, so in his lyrics the message of Jah keeps coming back, as this is his only inspiration. Lyrical Benjie did also release many tracks on King SHiloh label, Dubcreator, Slimmah's roots tribe label and many, many more.

It was King SHiloh that started recording Lyrical Benjie, this was the track My Dream, his first recoding ever ! After more then 30 years on the mic, he is still moved by Jah to keep His message alive and growing, Bless !!
