The band started in 2017 when drummer Alex Miranda met singer/guitar Don Mauro in a shitty workplace of a shitty company.
Fueled by a mutual interest in classic rock and beer, the two began rehearsing cover material to later begin rehearsing their own songs.
"It became clear right away that we had something special after the first few rehearsals" says Don, "Alex and me just
clicked, and we knew the time was just right to play something fresh, something different."

The band was later joined by bassist Mauro Shtens and singer Carla Garcia, who spiced up the mix with both his refined playing.
"At first we just had this sort of classic rock thing in mind," recalls Don, "But later we started experimenting, and by the time when they came along we were like, this is so fucking cool!"

The combination worked, and it gave Hellraizers the unique edge that defines the band's sound.
