Saint Idiot is the art pop project of Tomas Andel, a Slovakian-born producer and award-winning writer from Edmonton, Canada. He is best known for his restless, volatile sound full of unexpected motion and breakdown which most often deals with themes of memory, tenderness, and absurdity. His influences include Bjork, Tim Hecker, Death Grips, Zach Hill, Faunts, Gardens & Villa, and Yaeji, as well as the philosophy of Deep Listening, and free music improvisation.
