Areeyedeeは、カンザスで生まれ、ダラス・フォートワース郊外のテキサス州アズルで育ったジャンルフリーな音楽アーティストです。現在、ドイツのダルムシュタットに住んでいます。
若い頃は、90年代にロックバンドのリードボーカルを務めていた。数年前、長編映画でヒップホップアーティスト役のオファーを受け、ヒップホップが彼の人生に登場することになった。この役柄に深く入り込むうちに、ヒップホップ音楽の背景にある歴史に惚れ込んでしまったのです。
Areeyedeeは、ヒップホップ、ロック、ポップ、カントリー、EDMなど、多くのジャンルを融合させています。
Areeyedeeのサウンドパレットは広く、限界はない。カントリーでは、ジョニー・キャッシュ、ハンク・ウィリアムスJR、チャーリー・ダニエルズなどから影響を受けています。ロックでは、Metallica、Motley Crue、Billy Idolなどから影響を受けている。
ヒップホップでは、Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Grandmaster Funk, Public Enemy, Beasty Boys, Jay-Z, Future, Young Thug, Puff Daddyなど、数え切れないほどの影響を受けている。
